We are excited to share our January 31-Day Manifestation Journaling Challenge with you! This month we are focusing on how to manifest your goals and have the best year yet. We designed the manifestation journaling prompts to ease you into setting a New Year Intention instead of a New Year Resolution. We hope you take leaps in pursuit of your passion-based aspirations. Maybe most of all, we are here to tell you to “believe in yourself” as you manifest your dreams throughout the year.

What is manifestation?

If you’ve heard of manifestation or The Law of Attraction, you might have read the book or seen the documentary on Netflix called The Secret. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, please follow the link above called “The Secret” and enjoy a fascinating documentary (linked here, as well).

Manifestation, otherwise known as The Law of Attraction, is a metaphysical law of the universe that you can apply quickly to your everyday life. Stick around — we are breaking it down into simple, practical steps for you.

⚠️ WARNING: Using passionate manifestation may cause joy, abundance and fulfillment.

However, bringing your goals magically into your life doesn’t have to be a cuckoo-metaphysical frenzy or even complicated. It’s quite simple, actually. All you need is a passionate dream, a will to achieve and a positive belief that you will succeed. Now, let’s break it down.

Step 1 — Set Your Intention

The first step of manifestation is to set your solid intention on achieving an idea, experience or result you deeply desire in your heart and soul.

You actively decide, “yes!” And you go for it. You pile forward undoubtedly, courageously, with love and an inner-knowing that it will work out for you. You know and trust it’s working out for you because, well, you have decided from your heart/soul and not from mind/ego.

Step 2 — Manifest From the Heart/Soul

What’s the difference in setting intention from your heart/soul vs. mind/ego?

Take notice of your fiery, ecstatic passion when it arises. Does it root from your authentic self or from expectations imposed by others? You’ll know you’re working from heart/soul when ideas or experiences make you flow over with joy, give you butterflies in your tummy, resonate as a “dream come true” and inspire you to grow into the fullest version of yourself.

You will know if your goal is rooted in mind/ego if your intention feels like just another item to check off the list or you feel somewhat motivated but mostly stressed, or it feels like a means to an end (perhaps placed in your consciousness by an outside pressure). Use your inner knowing to decipher what is true for you.

How does manifestation work?

Short Answer: Manifestation is focused intention. Manifestation functions on steady, firm intention, positive thoughts, subjective belief that “it will be” and the greatest catalyst of all is passion.

Truly passionate states provide direct access to information your heart/soul is sharing. When you overflow with vibrant inspiration, creativity, truth, clarity, motivation and purpose—you are experiencing your heart/soul’s calling. For the purposes of this article, we will name it “The Call” and it symbolizes your soul’s “true calling” or “life purpose.” Hang onto this sensation! Build it. Expand it. Grow it. Show it. All of these high-energy vessels contribute to the manifestation of your intentions through firm, focused intention and positive thought.

Bring this feeling with you every day and remind yourself of it in the darker days. Even when inspiration fades, hang onto the ecstatic truth you feel when you are thriving. Make the choice to hold your dream with only positive thoughts, let go of worry and do the work. Before you know it, you’ll be back on track by maintaining honest decisiveness, perseverance, adequate time-spent and the genuine effort (required) to capture your dream.

If negative thoughts sneak up, kindly offer them the door by inviting positivity instead. The Law of Attraction does not discriminate and responds directly to both positive and negative thoughts alike. This means that you will attract what you are thinking about so try to focus your attention on what it is that you want instead of what is wrong.

“What you think about expands.”
— Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dr. Wayne Dyer covers The Law of Attraction and Manifestation as he discusses how to manifest exactly what you want in life.

Believing in Yourself and Your Calling

“The Call” is also known as your Soul (or Life) Purpose. These are opportunities that totally stir you and captivate you—they may also seem unattainable (at first) or unfavored by others. When you run into second thoughts, surround your vision with love, light and remember your passion.

You (and only you) are the fiery passion you feel inside and you will need this flame to manifest your dream into your reality. Others may not be able to relate and that’s okay. When you believe in your path, you get stronger, more courageous and powerful beyond belief.

Once you feel “The Call” from your heart/soul pointing to a new journey, it can be challenging to trust right away. Especially, if you are a very rational, safe-playing human. Indecision and opportunity do not mix nicely.

It can be feel scary to mix up the “good thing” you have going and take a “big” risk to reach for your dreams. On the other hand, you have wondered if you are going insane. Meanwhile in headspace, it appears that you have been yearning for a change of heart for awhile. If you could just know for certain that you are making the right decision…

For Example:

I can’t leave this well-paying, soul-sucking job to teach yoga and independently contract myself even though my dream career lays before my eyes. What if I don’t make enough money? What if I fail?

You will never have concrete answers for those questions and it’s always going to be a risk. And that’s the point—this is where the fun comes in! You’ll know you are following your soul if it makes you feel alive and feels more like play (heart/soul). You will know you are not being entirely true to your inner-knowing If it seems like a chore and is rooted in pride (mind/ego).

When you get over the hump of self-doubt and fear of failure, the only thing left to do is cultivate joy about your decision, positive thinking about the opportunity, trust your inner-knowing, believe in yourself, aim for the stars and follow that fiery passion.

Advice:

Passion is the closest connection we have to our heart/soul and can be accessed through passionate and joyous states. This means you have a sensory channel for understanding your life purpose. Do yourself a favor and trust it with your whole being. Every cell. If you don’t trust and believe in your calling, who will be there to manifest it for you? Be cautious with fleeting “maybe later” options, they are essentially dismissed as “not considered.”

What happens when you stay positive and passionate?

You can raise your vibration by using positive thinking and intense emotion (passion) while thinking about your situation. You begin to function at a new, higher level when your thoughts are positive and radiate passion—especially if you focus your intention firmly on your goal/dream. By choosing gratitude for your current situation, you are already improving your outlook and will continue to build momentum.

Negative thoughts may seep in but kindly let them know, they do not belong and shift how you are thinking about your situation to a brighter perspective. Remember, call in the sensation of “it already is” and feel that everything is working out perfectly for you in the given situation.

When your passion comes alive, you pay attention. It is only natural. You find your vibration has enlivened, as well. You exercise and play. You will opt out of television for additional writing time. You reconsider money you would have spent on who-knows-what and decide to use it to kickstart your dream instead. Then, you begin to attract other high vibrational people to you.

The Feeling of “It’s Already Here”

You’ve heard “The Call,” you’ve set your firm intention clearly on your desired outcome, you live in a positive mindscape and now you are putting in the work. Begin by imagining the feeling you would receive as you manifest your dream. In that exact moment, what do you feel?

Spend much time here as you call in your heart/soul purpose through your intention, time and efforts.

How does it feel to run your own company?

What does it feel like to write that book you have been brainstorming for years?

How does it feel to live in your dream destination after taking the leap?

How does it feel to have that happiness, abundance, health and healing you have been asking for?

The most powerful technique in manifestation is feeling as though you already have it. You begin living in accordance to your dream situation. You attract more of what you think about and feel. Envision yourself doing very well in this situation. You will receive hints as you start believing you are living your dream.

Practical Application for Manifestation

In all actuality, manifesting your dreams is not a super far-out concept or complicated to understand. It is quite simple when you consider the action steps involved and you may realize you have already been manifesting in other areas of your life without calling it that.

Manifestation in five practical steps:

  1. Acknowledge Your Calling

  2. Set Your Firm Intention

  3. Believe In Yourself

  4. Be Positive/Passionate

  5. Stay In Motion

It will feel absolutely magical when your intention manifests and suddenly your dream is changing into a reality. Sometimes it happens overwhelmingly fast. Sometimes slower. It may go in phases of both. You may feel a sense of urgency like you are in over your head. The key is to hang on. Don’t bail when the storms roll in and don’t stop when the skies clear.

Steady flow is the secret to achieving your dreams and in your persistence is where the action (and magic) happens.

Why is passion important for manifestation?

To put it simply, passionate people stay motivated and moving. If you are not invested with passion, you loose drive, determination and ambition because you are serving mind/ego (or someone else) instead of heart/soul. If you’re not passionate about it, you probably don’t care that much about the end result.

Phase 1:

Natural Adaptation

You set your intention because you want it.

You are able to manifest your dreams because you are a human-being capable of change. A passionate human (you) is especially flexible to change. When you want it so bad, you can let go very easily of less-domineering activities or habits that risk holding you back. Passion means priority. You won’t have space for lower vibrational activities when you are holding your heart/soul purpose as your firm intention.

Phase 2:

Evolution & Personal Growth

You invest, you adapt, you grow, you evolve.

Overtime, your surroundings will change too—sometimes without you realizing it is happening.

You redefine your friend groups by reining in new, high-vibrational people with shared interests and progressively spend less time with those who are no longer a vibrational match to you. You pay closer attention to budgeting your time and money because you learn resources are valuable. You develop a new lack-of-concern for naysayers while simultaneously gaining a deeper self-confidence as you trust yourself and your passionate journey. Things will change a lot when you give yourself to your passion.

Perhaps you find yourself living a totally different life when you start following your dream—the calling designed just perfectly for you.

Is It Selfish or Selfless?

You directly influence the world around you by following your unique calling. The results are the same whether you thrive alone or bring others with you because you are healing yourself. By healing yourself you become available for others even if they are not directly involved in your new pursuit.

But first, let’s talk about what happens if you opt not to take the heart/soul mission. Your heart/soul calling will continue to simmer and call you until you decide one of the following:

Option 1) Answer the call and believe in yourself

Option 2) Let it go to voicemail and deny your passion

Simple, right? But remember this:

“By not making a conscious choice, you are still choosing.”

— Anonymous overheard at Odd’s Cafe

You deserve to walk the road of your heart/soul’s calling. You were gifted unique, specialized talents to help you along your path. Have you been using your gifts to their fullest, most authentic potential?

Following your heart/soul calling is never selfish. Follow your internal compass. By satisfying your needs, you become a healthy and whole human. You will inspire others to embark on their unique journey. You lead by example as you believe in yourself, ignite your personal power and follow your dreams. Self-love and personal growth equals collective growth.

A healthy human has space for others. A depleted human has nothing to give. You become available physically, mentally and spiritually. The mind-chatter slows as you take care of yourself because you have less to worry about. Less worry means increased presence for really listening. You will see their passion/purpose locked just beneath their struggle and you’ll want to break them free. And you will.

It does not matter whether you create a solution to end world hunger or decide to backpack around the world. When your cup is filled, you can fill the cup of others.

To wrap it up…

You thrive when you are focused on your well-being first and foremost. You catalyze when you believe in yourself and live in a positive headspace. You find fulfillment by intentionally embarking upon your unique heart/soul mission. You persevere when you keep your dream in motion—on good days and not-so-good days. You manifest your dream by deeply believing in and trusting yourself. You empower others and raise the collective vibration by becoming one more self-empowered, lively-spirited, positive-minded, highly-functional and deeply loving human-being.

Stay in your fiery passion and here’s to the year of your dreams! ❤️
