You have to get away from your regular ruts & routines in order to gain a new perspective that will help you work towards a more balanced life when you return home.

Enjoy curated meals and group activities plus free time to customize your retreat with other activities (at your own, additional cost) like hiking, breweries, massage, sauna, food, shopping and more!

Men, women, couples, individuals and beginners are welcome!

What’s Included

  • Be one of the first to stay in these cozy, brand new, tiny A-frame cabins (built in 2022) at Wrong Way Campground, located just 3 miles from downtown Asheville. Every cabin includes a queen sized bed, private bathroom with toilet and shower and a couch that pulls out into a bed, HVAC, and high-speed WiFi. Sorry, there are no TVs, but every cabin does have a record player with vintage records, a hammock, and a selection of books and games so you can unplug and reconnect.

Single Occupancy means you get a whole cabin to yourself.

Double Occupancy means you share your cabin (and its cost) with another person like a friend or family member, so you must book two spots. Two people may sleep in the same bed or one person can sleep in the bed and one can sleep on the pull-out couch. If you book a double by yourself, you may end up sharing the room with a stranger.

Note: If you book a double by yourself and no one else books the other double space before the retreat starts, you will be charged an additional $150 (half of the difference between a single & double room).

  • 4 meals are included: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast.

Breakfasts and lunches will be catered by Newstock Pantry. A local community oriented business that serves small batch items made with intention ingredients sourced from small producers and creative menus that please the palate.

Friday dinner will be catered by another favorite local restaurant. You will be able to select your meals closer to the retreat date.

Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions/preferences upon registration so we may accommodate them.

*Note: Dinner Saturday evening is not included. This is so that you have free time to choose and dine at your favorite local Asheville restaurant. I highly recommend making reservations in advance.

  • Enjoy two relaxing, evening yoga flows and two energizing, morning yoga flows throughout the weekend. Miranda offers multiple options for most asanas so as to accommodate all levels including beginners. I recommend bringing your own mat but we will have some available to borrow as well.

  • Start each morning with a short meditation.

  • On Saturday morning, we’ll hike and do yoga at the top of a mountain vortex area near Asheville. The hike is moderate, a bit steep on the way up and about 1.5 miles roundtrip. Mats will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own as well.
    *Weather dependent

  • Enjoy a healing, cleansing sound bath with instruments including chimes, drums, gong and crystal singing bowls.

  • Reiki energy healing will be offered as an enhancement throughout some yoga practices.

  • Bring a journal to get the most out of your retreat experience. You will be invited to check in before and after a variety of activities. Journaling is optional but most helpful when it comes to reflecting on your experiences, thoughts and feelings.

  • Free time will be provided so that you can “choose your own adventure” and by treating yourself to massage, breweries, shopping, hiking and other activities in Asheville. (Additional activities are at your own expense.) Or just relax in your cabin, journaling, reading napping and reflecting on your inner self.

  • Free parking is included with your cabin.

More information

  • Full payment required to reserve your spot. No refunds within 30 days (August 22, 2023 = last day to cancel for full refund minus 6% transaction fee). Cancellations within 30 days may be counted as credit towards a future retreat if we can fill the vacant spot(s) last minute.

  • Be prepared in case an emergency happens last minute that prevents you from attending the retreat by purchasing a CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) travel insurance policy. Click here to explore several options and choose the one that is best for you.

  • In September be prepared for WARM Weather.

Pack and wear layers! It tends to be cooler in the mornings and evenings with warmer weather during the day.

    Average Temperature: High 77ºF (25.1ºC) • Low 57ºF (13.8ºC)

☔ Rain: Possible • Average Precipitation: 3.23 in. (82 mm)

  • Transportation to/from/during the retreat is not included.

I recommend driving your own car, renting a car or using AVL Taxi. Uber and Lyft may be options within the city and to/from the airport but they will not take you to/from hikes in the mountains.

Activities you choose to do during your free time are at your own expense.

*Note: Dinner Saturday evening is not included. This is so that you have free time to choose and dine at your favorite local Asheville restaurant. I highly recommend making reservations in advance.

  • Single Occupancy means you get a whole cabin to yourself.

  • If the intended retreat leader is unable to instruct due to injury, illness or family emergency, another yoga instructor will lead portions of or possibly even all of the retreat.

We’ll do out best to stick to the intended schedule, meals and activities but any of these may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

BONUSES!

You’ll also get a free year of online yoga to keep you motivated and moving forward after the retreat.

Meet Miranda

This retreat will be led by Miranda Peterson Harton, RYT500 and Owner/Founder of Namaste in Nature.

I am a yoga teacher, hiker, mom, wife and entrepreneur based in Western North Carolina. And I have a lot of experience achieving big, positive life changes.

In 2015, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, quit corporate life and ended a toxic relationship. I hit the reset button and did my first 200 hours of yoga teacher training in India, hiked around the world including the Himalayas, Andes and Alps and studied meditation with Buddhist monks in Thailand and Myanmar.

These experiences inspired me to create this business and lead yoga + nature retreats since 2018.

I am now living my best life and am thrilled to help others to do the same!
