2 nights cabin lodging, 6 meals (2 breakfast, 2 lunches + 2 dinners), 3 yoga classes, 2 hikes: mountaintop hike at sunset + waterfall hike, meditation, vortex, hot tub soak, massage, foot soak, free time
3:00 PM : Arrive & Check in at Wrong Way Campground: Urban River Lodge & Cabins: Beautiful new a-frame cabins built in 2022 near the French Broad River and just minutes from Downtown Asheville. Cabins sleep up to 4 people (1 queen bed + one pull out couch).

Fun fact: It’s called Wrong Way because the French Broad River (thought to be one of the oldest rivers in the world) flows south to north whereas most rivers flow north to south.
Early Afternoon/Evening: Quick Dinner at White Duck Taco. Grab a quick dinner at a casual taco place with a creative menu by the French Broad River. Meat, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

Evening: Sunset Vortex Yoga + Hiking + Meditation Micro-Retreat™ with Namaste in Nature • Private bookings also available • The location where this activity happens is one of the best views & closest trails Downtown Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Start times vary for this yoga hike depending on the time of year and the setting sun. Drive time to the trail is about 40 minutes from White Duck Taco Riverside location and 45 minutes from the trail to Wrong Way Campground .
7:00 - 8:00 AM: Enjoy an early breakfast at All Day Darling (opens at 7 AM) in the historic Montford neighborhood on your way to your yoga hike. Menu includes Meat, Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten-Free options plus coffee, tea and other uniquely blended beverages.
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Mindful Waterfall Yoga + Hiking + Meditation Micro-Retreat™ with Namaste in Nature • Private bookings also available • Note: The trailhead where this activity happens is located about 45 minutes east of Downtown Asheville.
Map & directions in confirmation email provided upon booking. This is currently the closest waterfall to Asheville. *Start time is 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM in the winter months.
1:00 PM: Lunch back in downtown Asheville at Isa’s French Bistro offering eclectic cuisine using local & seasonal ingredients for brunch, lunch & dinner. Meat, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

Afternoon: Indulge in a salt hydrotherapy (hot tub) soak & massage at Shoji Spa & Retreat. Choose from a 60, 90 or 120 minute soak all of which include showers, cedar sauna, yakuta (robe), slippers and towels. I recommend adding on the Japanese tea service too! Then experience full body bliss with a 60 or 90 minute zen or okubukai massage.

Evening: Treat yourself to a fancy dinner at Table in downtown Asheville. It’s a small, seasonal, New American restaurant whose menu is based on American culinary traditions paying particular homage to the Southeast and celebrating long-standing relationships with local farmers and artisans. Meat, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

8:00 AM: Savor breakfast at Sunny Point Cafe in West Asheville. A local favorite for over 20 years! They don’t do reservations so get there early or plan on waiting for a little while. (But the food is worth the wait!) Opens at 8 AM. Meat, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.
Free Time: Go for a walk – or bring a bike and ride – exploring Carrier Park and/or French Broad River Park. The River Arts District is also walkable from Wrong Way Campground but easier to drive to.

11 AM: Do Yoga in the Park at Carrier Park in West Asheville (right across the street from Wrong Way Campground). Classes offered April - October with good weather.
OR Bring your own yoga mat because there are plenty of places to do yoga and meditate in the park! I recommend the walking meditation and choose from 75+ other FREE yoga videos here.
1:00 PM: Lunch at Green Sage Cafe in Downtown Asheville. Menu includes Healthy Salads, Sandwiches, Juices, Smoothies; Meat, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free Options Available.
